On the interface’s main panel there’s a Welcome Text and links to connect to a database, open an SQL file, open a sample project, view video tutorials, and more. In the upper left hand corner, where it’s usually located, there’s a File Menu and a toolbar with buttons for various bits of functionality. Focusing on Windows alone, it must be said that getting DbSchema up and running on a PC will not take long and will not require much effort. The application is available as an installer or as a portable ZIP package. There are lots of things that you are going to like about DbSchema: the fact that it is available for all major operating systems, the fact that it is compatible with all relational databases, the fact that you don’t have to be a pro to access its functionality, and the fact that it is a properly good database tool that can be used to design, document and manage databases.Īs mentioned above, DbSchema is available for multiple platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
